Rebuilt the carb...

Finally got a day away to rebuild the carburetor on the F-100. It is an Edelbrock #1406 (Electric Choke) 600 CFM carb. There wasn't too much big stuff inside the carb mucking it up, but the inside did have a nice oil slick film to everything. It was pretty easy rebuilding this carb, just took a lot of patience and paying attention to how things go together. It works a little better now, but I need to fiddle some more with the choke..

Mmm Yeah, Good times.

Brake lights work again, thanks to alot of help from my buddy Todd. I am very appreciative of his electrical expertise. Bought new linkage end pieces and threaded rod today, going to make new throttle linkage for the pick-up. p.s. Tognotti's still sucks.

Electrical Gremlins suck...

So the brake lights on the F-100 have decided to stop working entirely. I have tail lights and turn signals but no brake lights. I have tried using different switches, I have even changed out fuses and bulbs and still no go. I have to have an open somewhere in the line that I now have to find...
