Removing a dirty tank is tricky...

Decided to pull the gas tank out of the chevy today, it should be getting replaced with a mustang gas tank in the future. That will require some extensive clean-up, welding and cutting first however. This tank is empty by all accounts so it should drop right out fairly easily...

Ok, so in reality nothing is as easy as it seems. The gas tank had about two gallons of gas still in it. Since the engine kept cutting out I had assumed it was out of gas. Now that I know there was still enough gas in the tank it makes me think that either lines were clogged or the fuel pump was bad. Carb is a piece of crap quadrajunk too but who knows. Anyways, pulled the tank out. The fuel line sheared right off so that is going to need to be replaced too! Anyways, I have 2 gallons of decent gas if anyone wants it!!
